submission of LOI

Once you have completed the LOI, the VIA Committee would be grateful if you could submit your application electronically using the email address below. Please note the submission deadline: Friday 11 November 2016 (24:00 CET). A late application will, unfortunately, not be accepted for review by the VIA Committee but can be submitted during the next annual cycle.

hints on writing a successful grant LOI

  • Do not exceed the stated word or character limits.
  • Ensure all required signatures have been obtained.
  • If you are making an application on behalf of an institution from a country that is not on the specified list, please ensure you are partnered with an institution from a country on the list and that this institution is named on the LOI where requested.
  • Ensure your project abstract contains all the information requested in the guidance notes.
  • Please do not forget to fill in the final box estimating the requested funding amount.
  • And finally, set a calendar reminder so that you avoid missing the deadline for application submissions, Friday 11 November 2016 (24:00 CET). Unfortunately, late applications will not be accepted for consideration by the VIA Committee this year.
